Lynn began quilting over 20 years ago at the urging of her Mother, Sallye. Never did she think quilting would turn into a career. After retiring from the University of Tennessee, Lynn began to work for Juki America as an educator. She traveled around the US attending quilt shows, teaching in quilt shops and having the time of her life. Then Covid came along and changed the world and shut down the shows and shops. At the same time, a family issue meant she had to stay home to take care of a family member. Thankfully her favorite quilt shop was looking for teachers. The first class she taught was Walking Foot Quilting and it was so successful. She continues to teach that class to sold out classes. Last year she decided to dive back into some hand work and discovered Kawandi. Lynn is very excited to attend Quilt Camp for the first time and looks forward to meeting everyone!
