    • all meals and accommodations for each day you teach

    •  breakfast the morning after you teach

  • Your lodging will be covered at the double-occupancy cost of a Mountaineer Lodge semi-private room.  Your meals will be covered at the cost of the Cedar Lakes meals.  Upon check-in, you will be responsible for all payment of your bill directly to Cedar Lakes.

  • If you do not teach all four days of Quilt Camp, you will receive meals as outlined above and lodging the nights you teach plus the night before you teach.

  • Cedar Lakes charges a flat rate for each room, regardless of it occupancy.  Selecting a private room will result in an upcharge above the reimbursement schedule.  Selecting a premium room (e.g. Holt) will result in an upcharge above the reimbursement schedule.  Those premium costs will not be reimbursed.

  • You are responsible to make your housing reservation.  A registration form will be provided to reserve a room at Cedar Lakes prior to the students.  These forms will be marked specifically for the teachers and must be returned immediately to ensure your choice of room.  This form is sent directly to Cedar Lakes.

  • When you send your housing reservation to Cedar Lakes, you must specify a roommate.  Please indicate your roommate’s name on your Cedar Lakes registration form.  With no roommate listed, your reservation will be interpreted as a private room.  If you would like a roommate, please notify Linda and she will attempt to find one for you.

  • If your roommate leaves early, you are electing to have a private room, and you will be responsible for the upcharge to Cedar Lakes as you check-out.

  • Cedar Lakes offers their meal plan a la carte so you can select which meals you would like to eat.  You are responsible to schedule your meals and receive your meal ticket upon check-in.

Cancellations:

  • If the enrollment for a workshop is below 8, it may be cancelled.  Every attempt will be made to notify you of cancellations by mid-February.

  • If your workshops are cancelled, you will be invited to enroll, as a student, in any available workshop at no charge.  The registration fee and workshop fees will be waived.  You must pay for your lodging and meals to Cedar Lakes.

Vending:

  • This agreement to teach does not imply, promise or remotely guarantee participation in the Vendor’s Mall.  Vending at the Vendor’s Mall will be handled by an agreement directly related to such.

  • Vending in the classroom: you may vend only supplies, books, or patterns that are directly related to and used within your specific class project.

Please Note:

The Director reserves the option of creating a studio class from any low attendance class in order to run that class rather than cancelling.  You would be notified prior to any such change, but it may mean the difference between teaching and not teaching at all.
