Log Cabin

Level 1 – Teaches basic use of a sewing machine, ironing/pressing, rotary tools as well as proper thread tension, stitch size, and seam allowance consistency, appropriate for true beginners.
We will spend two days piecing together a beautiful log cabin quilt. Students will learn to put the blocks together to form a magnificent star design. This class will be great for beginning students and the confident quilter.
In class we will discuss the proper way to use a rotary cutter, several ways to obtain the perfect 1/4" seam, proper pressing and the variety of the log cabin block.
