Jeri Fickes
Jeri Fickes has been piecing and quilting since 1988 and is no stranger to Quilt Camp, having attended for over 25 years. She has taught various quilting classes for all skill levels at Somewhere Sewing in Millersburg, Ohio, and has led workshops for her quilt guild, The Tree City Quilters’ Guild in Wooster, of which she is a founding member. Jeri is also a Co-Chair of the Honoring Our Patriots' Service group, which creates Quilts of Valor; since 2021, the group has honored nearly 500 veterans in her county.
Jeri has won awards at national quilt shows as well as local and state fairs. She is a certified instructor with Sew Kind of Wonderful and is excited to share the process of using the Quick Curve, Mini Curve, Wonder Curve, and Quick Straight rulers.
In her retirement, Jeri and her husband enjoy riding E-bikes, traveling, and visiting their family and grandchildren. She occasionally finds bike trails conveniently located near quilt shows and shops, which her husband graciously agrees to visit. Known to her grandchildren as "Kuku," she truly is cuckoo for quilting.
