Level 2 - Students should be aware of and have worked on projects using a sewing machine, iron, and rotary tools and have an understanding of proper thread tension, stitch size, and seam allowance consistency.

Time to put your love of birds to the needle. We will be working up a variety of our feathered friends using traditional piecing techniques and using your flair for design to create your very own flock. I ran across the free 2013 pattern from Block Lotto and have expanded the flock of birds to different sizes and shapes. And you will have the opportunity to design your own breed of bird, too.
