Walking Foot Quilting

This is a Level 1 Class. It teaches basic use of needed tools, as well as proper thread tension, stitch size, and seam allowance consistency – appropriate for true beginners. For all levels of quilt camper, little prior knowledge of quiltmaking techniques are needed in this class.

This two-day workshop will show you how you can use your domestic machine and your walking foot to make beautiful quilts. Walking foot quilts are not just stitch-in-the-ditch and straight lines. During the two-days you will learn to make curves and feathers. Let's go out walking and discover all your domestic machine can do!

After taking this class, you will easily be able to finish those quilt tops using your domestic machine and a walking foot.
