This is a Level 2 Class. Students should be aware of and have worked on projects practicing basic use of their sewing machine, iron, and rotary tools, as well as proper thread tension, stitch size, and seam allowance consistency.

This stunning project is paper pieced and we will have four days to learn techniques and work on construction. Select your own fabrics and value placements to make a one of kind, beautiful quilt or choose the colors in the original pattern. Pattern is Sedona by Quiltworx ($55.50 on their site). Tools needed for class are basic sewing supplies, rotary cutter and mat, 6 x 24 ruler or similar, Add-A-Quarter ruler, individual pressing station. Fabric requirements are listed on the pattern and good communication before camp with any questions will ensure a fun week and great satisfaction with your project. No previous paper piecing experience is required for this class.

Within the pattern is a "coloring page" to plan your colors/fabrics for your own quilt. Fabric selection for this quilt can be great fun but for some it might be overwhelming. Please contact me for help or to walk you through planning your project. This quilt looks difficult but taking a class and going step by step is the best way to learn the Quiltworx technique of paper piecing. Joining a four day class allows more time to complete your project with no "moving" in the middle of the week!
