One Block Wonder

This is a Level 2 Class. Students should be aware of and have worked on projects practicing basic use of their sewing machine, iron, and rotary tools, as well as proper thread tension, stitch size, and seam allowance consistency.

One Block Wonder, the title says it all. One block and an amazing quilt is created. All straight
seams too. Careful cutting and placement can change the whole look. All levels will be able to
take this class. Beginners will be able to accomplish this class with the teacher’s aid. More
advanced quilters will love this technique. Students will learn a stack n’ whack
technique,keeping your pieces together even though block components will be in different rows.
Students will feel quite accomplished at the completion of this class. It is so interesting to see
what fabrics your classmates have chosen and what their quilts will look like. You will look at
fabric completely different after this class.
