An avid lover of all things fiber, Lorraine started knitting and embroidering around the age of 10. Her grandmother inspired a love of different techniques, from chicken scratch to Swedish weaving to crocheting to quilting. If it involved thread or yarn, Lorraine wanted to learn how it worked. Having quilted for over 45 years, Lorraine has taught classes from beginning quiltmaking thru advanced - always happy finding converts to her favorite obsession. She has taught in Ohio, her home state, Florida and North Carolina, and of course, West Virginia! In her home of North Carolina, Lorraine is a member of two local guilds. A long-time member of NQA, Lorraine is also a Certified Judge, and is now approved to teach the NQA Introduction to Quilt Judging class.
