Machine : Piecing & Applique

Wonky Snowmen 39” x 49”  No hats or mittens needed to make these Wonky Snowmen. Appliqué pieces are made with fusible web. You will learn to machine appliqué the raw edges. If you prefer to do hand appliqué, you are welcome to join us, but this will not be taught in class. An easy technique to make perfectly sized wonky blocks will be taught. This technique may be used on any other patchwork or appliqué blocks, redwork or panel prints You may choose to make nine or twelve snowmen. Some students make three block door hangers to use as Christmas gifts. After the quilt top is sewn, embellish it with buttons, snaps, lace, ribbons, charms or by embroidering snowflakes in the background of the blocks. You need to know your way around your own sewing machine.

Pattern fee: $10.
